Florence has recently retired as Podiatrist from the NHS where she specialised in the diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and chronic diabetic foot conditions.
She trained in Glasgow and completed a Post Graduate Teaching Diploma in Further Education. After a successful spell in teaching Podiatry she moved to Perth in 1978. Working as a member of Perth Royal Infirmary's Diabetic Foot Team, she enhanced her knowledge and skills in the care of the diabetic and high risk foot. As a member of this team Florence was involved in many innovative new measures for the assessment and treatment of the Diabetic foot and has presented many talks to both professional bodies and local groups.
Florence took early retirement to spend time with her young grandchildren, enjoy travelling and trips to the theatre but she is delighted to have joined the Tayside Chiropractic & Wellness Clinic to provide a high standard of foot care in this forward thinking Clinic.
